What is a CMS?

Simply put - it is a way for you to manage and update your own site. As a result you save money. Instead of paying a web agency to take care of your updates you can easily have them done inhouse. You don't have to know any coding to update and maintain your site. The interface is as simple as Microsoft Word. If you know how to use Word, you know how to use our CMS.

What features does a CMS have?

Listing all the features a CMS has would make for a long list. But some of the features are:

- Easy and secure editing. All you need to do is go to the login page and login. The interface is within your browser, so no extra software is needed. This also means you can edit your site anywhere. All you need is an internet connection.

- Navigation is added automatically. When you create a page the CMS takes care of adding the proper links in the navigation. Deleting a page or moving it is also taken care of automatically. Adding a link manually in a medium to large sized site can be a quite time consuming endeavor. Not with a CMS.

- Adding files is very easy. You can upload/add basically any file and our CMS will take care of inserting the proper code so your visitors can see the files/access them.

- Editing text is as easy as using Word. Cut, copy and paste.

- A handy search function. Meaning your visitors can type in a search term and all pages will be searched similar to Google. With the most relevant content up top.
